Dr. So Jung Lee
Dr. So Jung Lee earned both her Bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees from Case Western Reserve University through the Pre-Professional Scholars Program, an accelerated 3+4 combined program. She later received her Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Surgery and Implantology from UniCamillus International Medical School in Rome, Italy, with focused training in dental implantology, wisdom tooth extractions, and soft tissue surgeries. She is currently pursuing Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Dr. Lee remains active in advanced dental education and frequently assists as faculty in live implant surgery courses. She also serves as an executive member of the Korean American Dental Association (KADA) in the Mid-Atlantic region, where she helps organize continuing education events and fosters collaboration within the dental community.
Originally from Daejeon, South Korea, Dr. Lee moved to the United States at the age of 12 and has since lived in Massachusetts, Virginia, Ohio, and Mississauga, Canada, before settling in Northern Virginia. Inspired by her father, a physician, she is passionate about providing not only high-quality dental care but also a compassionate and comfortable experience for every patient. She shares this dedication to healthcare with her two younger sisters, who also work in the field, and values the support and inspiration they give each other.
Her goal is to create an environment where visiting the dentist feels welcoming and stress-free. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lee enjoys staying active through tennis and soccer, and she loves building LEGO creations as a way to relax and stay creative.
